This Privacy Policy explains how ArkaLaksh Technology ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application Voice 2 Voice (V2V) ("App") and related services.

- Audio and Voice Data: When you use the voice translation feature, the App records your voice using the device microphone. Audio data is securely transmitted to our translation engine and processed only for generating the translated result. We do not permanently store your audio files.
- Contacts: If you choose to share translations or invite contacts, the App may request permission to access your contact list. This information stays on your device and is not uploaded or stored on our servers.
- Media and Storage: The App may request access to your device’s photos, media, or files to allow you to attach or share translations, or to save translated audio/text locally. We do not access or store media unless you explicitly use these features.
- Automatically Collected Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, crash logs, and anonymous usage statistics for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
- Provide real-time voice translation and related features.
- Enable sharing of translated messages and media as per your request.
- Monitor app performance, improve service accuracy, and fix bugs.
- Communicate updates, improvements, or technical notices.
3. Permissions Used by the App
- Microphone: Used to capture audio for translation.
- Record Audio: Enables the app to record your voice and convert it into translated output.
- Contacts: Allows optional access to share or invite contacts.
- Media/Storage: Used for reading and saving translated audio or text files.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Information may be shared only in limited cases:
- With service providers (such as cloud speech APIs like Google Cloud Speech, AWS, or Azure) to process translations securely.
- To comply with legal obligations or government requests.
- During business transfers such as mergers or acquisitions, with equivalent privacy protection.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party analytics and cloud translation providers. These services may collect anonymized technical information (device type, crash logs, etc.) to help us improve functionality. No personal or audio data is stored by these providers beyond what is needed for translation processing.
6. Data Retention
Audio and contact data are not permanently stored. Temporary cache data may be retained briefly to ensure smooth performance and deleted automatically after processing.
